Zaina Presents Troupe Marhaba
Troupe Marhaba is a new troupe located in the Birmingham area. Marhaba, meaning
welcome
in Egyptian Arabic, grew out of Bellydancer Zaina's level 2 bellydance classes. Currently, the troupe consists of dancers Raziya, Talibah and Yasmine. The dancers of Marhaba made their debut at the 2009 Bellydance Queen Competition located in Birmingham. Happily Marhaba placed runner up in the troupe category of the Competition. More recently Marhaba performed as part of the 2010 Alabama Dance Festival Showcase held annually in downtown Birmingham at the BJCC. Together we look forward to a future of great possibilities and of course. . .dancing!!!
