Recently, Zaina was selected to teach the Eqyptian style bellydance community class as part of the Alabama Dance Festival's Dance Across Birmingham where Zaina and her students also performed as part of the showcase under Bellydance with Zaina .
Zaina's style is family and fun-oriented. Through performance and as an instructor, Zaina's hope is to share quality Egyptian style bellydance with our Community.
Zaina is an Egyptian cabaret belly dancer and instructor in the Jacksonville Metro area whose love of Egyptian belly dance is evident both as an instructor and performer. Zaina's introduction to Egyptian-style belly dance began with Birmingham veteran instructor, Aziza, of Aziza's School of Middle Eastern Dance.
To enrich her skill, technique and cultural knowledge of Egyptian belly dance, Zaina also attends workshops, and feels fortunate for a recent opportunities to attend a workshops featuring renowned instructors, dancers and choreographers, of Cairo, Egypt, including Raqia Hassan, Dr. Mo Geddawi, Randa Kamel, and the legendary dancer, Nagwa Fouad, in Miami, Florida.
